Thank Goodness it's Friday!

Ok..after many requests with "pretty pleases" added, I will show you the new hair color--which I might add is slowly turning medium ash brown...Praise the Lord! (It truly was the color of Morticia Addams from the Addams Family!!) On Tuesday, after I posted the last blog entry, we had a track meet. Y'all, half a dozen people--including some of the kids--stopped me and asked what had I done differently to my hair! I am really tired of telling the story!
This picture is from Wednesday night. Hubby and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary! We went to a"fru fru" restaurant here in Greenville--not McDonalds!! I was so excited! It was great just having a couple of hours to talk and not be interrupted by the phone or tv or computers! Loved it! We enjoyed delicious steaks at Stax Peppermill...but it was our waiter that was so great! When he took our drink order, I asked for sweet tea. This is a staple here in the south. To my dismay, he said that they only had unsweetened tea, and I'd have to add Splenda. Well....I simply told him that I'd drink water. He started to walk away, and quickly returned with a grin on his face. He said that he actually had made some sweet tea in the back for himself, and that he'd be glad to share it with me! How precious is that? A total stranger sharing his sweet tea! Gotta love it!

Ok, just want to throw out a quick question to y'all. What are you doing this weekend? And, can you feel spring on its way? It's gorgeous outside today. Sunny and warm out on my deck. Just the place to eat a "gourmet" pbj sandwich and goldfish crackers for lunch! With a coca-cola of course!

Are you all going anywhere? Working in the yard? I would love to hear your plans! I am going to the BiLo Center in Greenville tonight and tomorrow to hear the daughter of Billy Graham! Anne Graham Lotz is going to have her "Just Give Me Jesus" revival going on! I am so excited! Would appreciate all prayers for those attending....especially for those ladies who have never heard the "Good News" about Jesus! We've been praying for this revival for over a year now! And...it's finally here!

Y'all, enjoy this day!!

Sweet Blessings!

Happy anniversary! Twenty years, wow. That is pretty good stuff. :)

I am jealous of you going to go see Ann Graham Lotz! Fill us in all you see and hear. Those are some good plans for the weekend!

BTW, you hair looks great!

You would be proud of me--I'm back to my running again. Up to four miles but still not completely conditioned yet! Any pointers, runner mom?

Spent the day in Washington, NC, eating some breakfast on the beach with Jesus and 150 of my closest friends.

Rich time of intimacy and fellowship with the Lord, and now to rest.

And to cry. Announcement will be made on Sunday. Prayers, please.

By the way...

I think it looks good, and you all make a darling, tiny couple. Honestly, is there any fat living in that household?

Well Happy Anniversary! and you do not look like Morticia Adams. I plan on cleaning out the flower pots to make them ready for planting, and enjoy me some sunshine! I would love to be there to hear AGL, and I will pray for the revival. She is an awesome speaker! Have a blessed weekend! Jackie

I am loving Elaine's last comment...too cute!

I am going to our annual Women's Retreat. Actually, this year it's more like a conference. It's only for one day. I've been helping to prepare for it, and I am worn out! lol It's always a wonderful blessing when we have these retreats. So, that's where I'll be.

Happy anniversary! I always ask my hubby to take me somewhere that doesn't automatically ask, "Do you want fries with that?" ;-)

I'm still enjoying the warmth, the sunshine, and the waves of the Pacific.

You look delightful and what a precious waiter you must have had on the night of your anniversary celebration!

Lovingly,
Yolanda

Happy anniversary! You look great!

My weekend plans? My husband is gone on a short mission trip, so I'm with my girls. We'll have a relaxing weekend. I had hoped to run a bit outside, but my training has been derailed by an injury. :-(

I hope to get back on track soon. Enjoy your time at the revival!

Happy Anniversary! I am a sweet tea loving girl myself! McDonalds has the best, but I wouldn't go there for my anniversary dinner either. LOL!

How chic! You two are definitely a matched-set, and the "new do" only adds to the charm.

It'll be a lovely weekend here in AZ: the sun's shining (80 degrees), the flowers are blooming, the plans are random (a nap, church, visiting with good friends, home-made meatloaf, a nap, a bike ride, a few errands, a nap).

Hugs,
Kathleen

Hey Chickie!

Happy Anniversary! Glad you got some grown-up food, and the shared sweet tea is just too sweet. :)

I'm still in LA at my sister's house. They should be home from their honeymoon soon. The wedding went perfectly. I'll blog about it soon as the photographer emails me some pics.

Tuesday, we leave here and head to Lamesa, TX where my in-laws live. Cliff will meet up with us there. His dad is turning 80 and we're celebrating with a huge party/family reunion. Should be fun to meet all the country cousins, many of whom I've befriended on Facebook.

Can't wait to hear about Anne Graham Lotz. Love you, Lee

Happy Anniversary! Y'all look great. Love the hair!

This weekend we are doing nada. It's been so busy for me the last 4weeks, I am happy to have some down time. Well, I do have to clean because momma will be here Wednesday. She's helping me get ready for my book launch party :)

Susan,

The color is very becoming. Great choice! And congratulations on your anniversary.

Are you going to the She Speaks this year? My mom is going to come this year, since Lee won't be joining me.
