A New Thing!

Child #2 is collecting various collegiate t-shirts!! How do you like his Michigan shirt? Let me know if y'all have any hand-me downs!! We'll pay the shipping and handling for adult small!! I just cannot accept a Clemson one! Sorry you precious Tiger friends!!
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland. Isaiah 43:19

A new thing has begun....school!! New book bags, supplies, cross country t-shirts (wanna buy one?). The boys actually hopped out of bed this morning! I now have a high school junior and an 8th grader! Wow! It's so hard to believe how fast they grow up. I have kept them and the other children in prayers this week.

The third picture is a new thing--don't you love that verse from Isaiah? I cannot WAIT to meet him when I get to heaven! I just want to sit down and pick his brain! He was amazing! I begin my Precepts Bible Study next month, and we will complete the book of Isaiah! It's deep, y'all! But I love it! I am also going to be taking another study that the Methodist Church offers...Disciple 1. Both are very deep studies, but this is what I hear God whispering to my heart. Many new changes in store!!

Getting back to the last picture!!(I'm just experiencing a little ADD this morning!) I am going to see what I can do with this beautiful cross that a very talented member of our church made. I'll keep you posted as to what the result will look like. I may even sell some of these for Christmas. Need to pray a little more about this new thing!!

Y'all have a wonderful day!

Sweet Blessings!

I can't wait to see what you do with the cross. When I was pregnant with both kiddos I hand painted little crosses to go in their rooms. Post pics soon!

Happy back to school.

Oh yea, and I LOVE that verse. Thanks for sharing.

New things ... seems to be the way of things right now. And while it's sometimes hard for me to cloak myself with the new, I do so knowing that my God is bigger than anything that crosses my path and that he desires to work my "new" into his purposes for this world.

Lots of love.

I LOVE that verse! I love the NIV version....See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.

"Now it springs up!"

Lots is springing up in your home, family and heart! :)

Disciple 1 rocks! You will have to keep me posted on it!
We go to the Methodist church, and I am actually speaking (briefly) in all 3 services on Sunday about Disciple 1 to encourage others to take it.
Although I have grown up in church, Disciple 1 was the first time I went through the entire Bible, and got to see how it all fit together. I LOVED it. Although it started out kind of dry....and it's a LOT of reading, I just fell in love with it. Who couldn't, right? It's the Word of God!

Hey Susan,

Stopping by to say hi, and catch up!

Would your son like an "LSU" T-shirt?

Wow, a precept study on Isaiah, that is going to be sooooooo good.

I'm starting Esther next week.

Blessings my friend♥

Can't wait to see what you do with that cross!

Are the boys selling cross-country t-shirts for school? How much are they?

Good for you for going deep this fall with Bible study. I love to dig deep and keep learning about God's word. It continually fascinates me. Just when I think I get "it," I see there's even more to discover.

Love the t-shirt idea. We, as you know, are HUGE Penn State fans. Does your son want a plain shirt with the school name or something fancier?

Love ya',
Kelli

Susan,
Last year I took crosses that the one you have and made gifts for Christmas as well for the ladies in the P31 office and for my Gather & Grow groups. I painted their name down the middle and then across the bar I wrote something about how He saw them. For instance, Mary. The apple of His eye. They turned out really nice.
Thanks for the idea on the chicken noodle soup and I will ask Greg to stop and pick up the cough syrup!
Have a super weekend!
