My little 'ol head is just a spinnin'! Not with wonderful creative ideas--wishful thinking! But with a feeling of being "discombobulated." I think that is a word...I use it anyway! Not focused...my mind on too many things! I am thinking about a scripture and the death of a friend's brother-in-law in Louisiana and the adoption of a baby in Ethiopia and designing cross country t-shirts for the parents at my child's high school. All at one time!
Let me share this scripture with you.
"The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." 2 Chronicles 16:9
This is the fresh Word I received form God last night as I read my way through 2 Chronicles. It just sorta leaped out at me! And, today, with all that is going on, it is clicking. Take a look at some other verses about our Holy Father and how interested He is in everything that we do and say.
"For God carefully watches the way people live; he sees everything they do." Job 34:21
"The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help." Ps 34:15
"Far below him are the heavens and the earth. He stoops to look." Psalm 113:6
"For the LORD sees clearly what a man does, examining every path he takes." Proverbs 5:21
He is a caring and loving God! All that we do really does matter to Him! These scriptures don't lie! He is comforting Lee's family over the loss of Buddy. He is strengthening the Swope family for their upcoming adoption. He is giving me the peace that I crave (and no one is here except the dog and me!!) as I search the scriptures. The t-shirt design will come later! Not worried about that one!
What about you? If God's eyes are roaming the earth, what will He see in your life and in your heart? Is it something you are pleased with or something you would rather no one know about? He is all-knowing, and He loves us no matter what! I love the fact that He stoops down to see what we're up to! I have a visual of Him stooping over from Heaven way down to South Carolina to see what I'm up to! He cares so much for each one of us. What an amazing God we have!
Sweet Blessings!

Thanks, Susan. Love these truths from His Word. His loving eyes are on us for sure. :)
I love your visual at the end. I hope he will stoop down to Virginia and fill me with his love today!
Wow! I needed to read this today! I always love your inspiration Susan. Thanks for stopping by, and don't forget to check back on Friday for my Uppercase Living giveaway!
Happy Wednesday,

Thanks, Susan for the reminder that our Daddy is always 'looking' upon us! He has been showing me lately that even though I can't remember alot of my childhood, He knows it all and what's truly important is where I am today... and that's resting in His embrace! PTL!
Susan...
I too am desiring peace... the peace that comes from Him, not just peace and quiet! I have been a bit jumbled as of late as well. Feeling a bit anxious about the upcoming winter months - business will slow. What comfort it is knowing that this all matters to our God! Even things that seem insiginificant to some and are huge to another person are important to Him! I am thankful for my Jesus today... our Jesus... our Prince of Peace!

Susan,
I love that He is faithful and that His word is TRUTH.
Lovingly,

The Word is living. Isn't it wonderful how a verse you know you've read time and again suddenly becomes very personal at a time when you need it? That's what I would call at "God Thang." No other book does it. No other Word can make itself ever present in time of trouble.
Thank you,
Kristy
I just wrote that same verse:
2 Chronicles 16:9
in my journal yesterday!!
That's our "seeing eye GOD!!" His name is EL ROI - the God who sees [me]!!
Great post!

What a well written encouraging post! Heart you!
The NASB puts it this way, ""For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His."
I love that..."completely His."
Thanks for reminding me of His strong support and strengthening this night. Both so needed.
Hugs,
Joy
I came by this morning (drive-by blogging) and read this post. Just wanted you to know it has stuck with me through out my day. Thanks, Susan!
Love to you!

Discombobulated, that describes me to a T. Thank you Susan for sharing these verses, especially 2 Chron. My mind seems to be committed to unimportant things right now. I needed to hear this verse.
Bless you Friend
Wendy P.
Thanks Susan! You're right - we were on the same wavelength. In fact, I had another post scheduled and felt impressed to write the one about His perspective instead! I will be adding your scripture verses to my post - so powerful!
Blessings,
Susan
