Last Yard Sale of the Summer!

Ya'll! I found another midweek yard sale down the street from my house! I seriously am not searching high and low for them! They just keep finding me! Take a look!!

How cute will this be after fresh paint and new fabric? I am going to put it to use with that little desk I bought! Only $5.00!!!
Yay!!! My favorite!!! White milk glass!!! Whoohoo! Five pieces for $5.00!
Getting brave! Someone else's linens!! (They have never been used--tags are still on!) 4 for $1.00.
It was only a hundred degrees when I tried on these darlin' winter scarves! They were only a dollar each. Love it!!
And last, a cute green container for silverware to be housed on my back porch. I have seen this one at Hobby Lobby. I got mine for $2.00. Make sure to hop over to Rhoda's to see what others found around town this weekend. I think this is my last one for awhile! I have way too many projects going that I need to complete.

On a serious note, please take a minute to visit Melanie (Bella Mella). She has a huge prayer request, y'all. Her 12 year old son, Andrew, has a brain tumor. She is asking for prayers for him. Please leave her a comment on her blog! Thank you so much!! She has been on my heart all weekend long. "The LORD has heard my cry for mercy; the LORD accepts my prayer." Psalm 6:9

Sweet Blessings!
Susan

You always find the best STUFF! One of these days I will actually be able to yard sale again. No money these days, even for a yard sale! I will just live vicariously through you for now. Love that chair, wow!

Hope you had a wonderful weekend,
~Misti

Gracious... how big is your house? Are you going to sell these when finished? Here I am trying to get rid of stuff and you're collecting it! I know they will be darling ... like you.

Praying for you in this time of loss; streets of golden are sounding pretty good to me right now.

I went straight over to let Melanie know I would be praying for her son and her family. You have some great finds. Cute chair, and I know you were excited about all that milk glass. Got to sub tomorrow and Thursday. It will be a busy week! Hope cross country went well. I was thinking about you this weekend, remembering those days with my kids. Have a great week! Jackie

Susan,

Your posts always make me smile. Your inner joy shines through each and every time.

I wish I could come and "shop" with you. I never seem to have vision for the things I see at a gargage sale! I am sure I pay WAY too much for what I buy. Love the chair and can't wait to see the "after."

Sweet Blessings to you,

Wendy

Read about your uncle's passing on Elaine's blog... I'm glad to hear he is in the presence of Jesus now! I know you will miss him - but he is now in the best place he can be - with his Father in heaven! Wow! Precious!

Blessings to you and your family,
Stephanie

Susan....you are so cute. A mid-week yard sale. That makes me giggle. You REALLY find the treasures...and they find you! You should have your own TV show!

Hi my friend. Just recd your comment on my blog. Just an FYI I already walk. Actually if you read my story you'd see my two year journey. I power walk, treadmill, Leslie Sansone DVD's (with jogging intervals), weights and free style workouts. I also was in Curves for 2 years but let that go this year. I enjoy working out. NS is also new for me. It has helped what began as hormonal melt down last year after working out on my own and eating healthier for two yrs and losing a great day of weight. It's on my blog...

I appreciate your love and encouragement. Blessings.

Wow! Lots of good "loot" from the yard sales! I sure miss getting to go to them now. The only time they have them around here is on Saturday mornings and we are always busy with the church bus route then.

So sorry about Melanie's little boy! Can't imagine! May God intervene is my prayer!

Great finds. Talk about the yard sales find you...yow baby, they do. Cheap prices too.

Nothing like getting something new (napkins) at used prices.

That chair is darling...can't find anything like that with those curves and details these days.

ADORABLE, all of them. Yeesh, you and I could do some serious yard-sale damage together if we were in the same state!

I am already looking forward to Saturday. I haven't been to any sales in the past two weeks. I am getting my garage-sale-shoes on and searching for treasures!

...wanted to let you know I answered your question on my blog FINALLY today. (my post should be up in a minute!)

Hugs!
