Decorating Delimma Wednesday--3 Down, 567 To Go!

One project completed!
Two projects completed!

And three projects finished! Woohoo! I am slap worn out! I LOVE doing these fun projects to spice up my home while on a budget, but finding the time to start and complete them with life thrown in the middle is not an easy thing to do! Having you all waiting patiently for me to show you the finished job is my motivation, and I so appreciate that! The encouragement that you give me is such a blessing! I want to share with you a scripture that is just perfect for you all today! "May our lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word." 2 Thess. 2:16-17
My next project began yesterday with a trip to the Post Office--to learn about shipping and handling! I now have gathered all of the info to set up my etsy shop! Woohoo! I'm excited! But....I need to finish a little painting to put in the esty shop! That's my goal! I would so appreciate your prayers as I venture into the world of selling stuff! I've sold a few pieces to friends, and it has been a joy to see the looks on their faces at the finished pieces. I am not a "'fine" artist at all...simply a fun and whimsical type of painting Mama! When I finish the first piece, I'll let y'all know! I'll have some on my sidebar as well.
Project number 4 is waiting patiently for me to finish it! Only a gazillion more to go!
Enjoy this gorgeous day that the Lord has given us, my sweet friends!
Many Blessings,

Wow, Susan. These are gorgeous pieces. Really. Unless I've slept since then, I was thinking in the beginning you posted that you are not creative at all. YOU LIED. haha. Very talented and creative.

Stupid question...what is an etsy shop?

Will you be making all of your items to sell? I was wondering because that seems like a lot of creating to maintain a shop...but then I don't know what an etsy shop is so maybe there isn't a lot of volume in creating items to sell.

Job well done.
Love,
Paula

All your projects are super cute! I do think you should open an etsy store.
What a fun adventure!

Will I see you at She speaks this year, or will you be busy spraying and sewing?

The stool is very cute! Where do you plan to use it. I have a stack of projects that I need to jump on and feel mentally depleted. The Dr thinks my daughter actually has Crohns Disease. She is scheduled for a colonoscopy soon and they are looking at getting her remicade treatments, my head hurts when I think about that along with other things that are going on, I have subbed everyday this week! It sure helps! I am going to be in need of one of your ladies retreats soon! Please continue to pray for her, and thanks for your prayers already. Can't wait to see what is going in your etsy shop! Zebra and green! Yes, that does look familiar. What a cute chair that is & I love the painted piece too. Looks like you're gonna have a great looking space. Thanks for telling me about it.

And yes, I did literally throw all of that together in about an hour. I keep lots of stuff around the house, so I just go hunting & gathering until I find what I need. That's the advantage of being a yardsale-aholic!
