Last week, I asked you all for your decorating tips with this little stool. Y'all had some marvelous suggestions! I couldn't use them all at this time....I'll use some of the other tips on my various projects that I've started over the years and haven't completed!!
I found this solid black fabric and this darlin' fringey tasseley stuff at Hancock Fabric--all on sale! I have not had time to put it all together! Just too many things happening at home! But I have a weekend approaching with no where to go...I hope! Use your imaginations....black on top and fru fru on the sides to cover the staples. Does that sound like a plan? I also have an idea that Kari and Kijsa suggested...a monogram on top of the black. They mentioned painting it, but I'm thinking about getting my precious friend, Lisa, to put one on with her handy dandy embroidery machine. Just wonder if it will get too dirty?? Remember, I have boys!
I'll make y'all a promise...I will finish the chair and the stool before next Wednesday's post! Still thinking about the magazine rack...almost have a plan for that one too.
I would love to invite y'all to visit my precious friend Sharon at her blog! She is celebrating her 100th post! Woohoo! She has prizes!! Go visit her, you sweet little things! Just remember to drop me a line and let me know how to make my fingers look normal again! Please!!

Oh, maybe paint thinner? That is terrible...your poor finger.
I love bootcamp. My trainer @ our local gym is leading it. Today, we worked out inside due to the front in Arkansas. We have crazy weather! Today~we worked in teams...we totally ran races. It was a blast. I will be sore!
Monday, we did all ad work with balls. It's a blast! I bet you would like it.
I am thinking paint thinner as well...sometimes you can just gradually rub it off with a dry towel. Have you ever tried the trigger that fits over a spray paint can? They are available at Lowe's (very cheap) and not only will it prevent your current problem it will also prevent the sore finger that accompanies it. I bought a couple of them awhile back and won't spray paint with out them.
You are too funny!! How you find time for all of the things you do amazes me.
btw - Thursday night ride has a group of "no one left behind" You should come!
Wear gardening gloves or surgical gloves when painting. Of course that doesn't help you now. But next time! I also wear a hat when I'm rolling a wall, to keep the "spatter" out of my hair.
Thanks for the shout out, friend!
Try "Goof Off - The Ultimate Remover"! :) It works!
www.goof-off.com !
Let us know how you make out.
I was going to suggest Goo Gone also! Not because I actually KNEW this, but because I complained about "spray paint finger" on my blog and someone suggested it! ;)
Love the fringe, can't wait to see the stool. A monogram is a great idea!
We have something here called orange something or another it is a man scrubby kind of hand cleaner. That is what I use(sorry the dog is sleeping where it is stored in the LR or I would look. Can't wait to see the finished bench. I have got to get busy creating this weekend. Jackie
Sorry, I don't have any suggestions on how to get rid of the paint. Next time though, you could try wearing latex gloves. Then you won't have to worry about painted fingers! I am so inspired by you to create. Great ideas!
Also, I just wanted to say, thank you for your sweet comments on my blog. I love your blog and will be visiting often!
Blessings to you,
Becky
Did you try nail polish remover? Might also try eye make up remover...that can usually get things like that off too. Can't wait to see how all your projects turn out.
Love the splash of hot pink.
I've done that exact thing with spray paint and my finger.
Love ya,
P
Hope your finger is back to normal now! I would have been no help! :)
And I can't wait to see the finished product on that stool! It is going to look too cute!
Blessings!

Hey - thanks for the prayer.
That fabric and fringe is darlin! You can't go wrong with any combination or placement of those in my opinion. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Oh, and one summer I gave myself "tennis elbow" in my right arm from holding down spary paint nozzels too much! So pace yourself.

So, I can't find your email and I'll just add another comment here. I love to run and would love to run more, but I've got 3 little ones and a husband with a super demanding job. I've got the Bolder Boulder - my favorite 10K for fun coming up and then 2 half marathons this summer. Should be fun. Runner mom is what grabbed my attention - that is what I aspire to be!
CUTE =-) Paint thinner should work!
I started wearing latex gloves when I spray paint. Then I feel like the "Paint Doctor". ha
I just found your blog today and have enjoyed your posts. Blessings to you and I really want to start running again. It has been years and I am overweight and out of shape. Hard to get back in teh groove.
