My 100th Post--Amazing!!

Wow! 100 posts! It only took a year! I just can't believe that I stuck with it this long! But I know why--it's you! My wonderful bloggyland friends whom I get to visit on a regular basis. Thanks for your kind comments, uplifting advice, and honesty. I truly appreciate it.

As I mentioned last week, I am going to do a give-away for this post! Do y'all remember this cute little canvas that I put in my Etsy shop?

Well, you can't have this one!!! It's mine and adorns my little antique chest of drawers in the study!!! But....I would LOVE To make one for you!!! You pick out your two colors (I'll use various shades of them.) and your scripture verse that you'd like. Just don't make it as long as the 23rd Psalm! It needs to be a relatively short verse, PLEASE? We will draw your name, and I'll email you to find out your colors, verse, and mailing address. And, we will do this the old fashioned, kindergarten teacher way!! I will put all of your names in a hat and one of my kids will draw out one name ! None of this fancy shamnsey computer generated stuff--no siree, Bob! Just don't forget to leave me an email address on your comment, please. And, if you would kindly mention that Runner Mom is having a give-away on your blog, I would so appreciate it!! I will draw names next Friday and let y'all know the winner then. Oh, I hope that you like this little painting! I love mine!

I hope that all of you have a wonderful 4th of July!! I would love to know your plans! We're going down to my friend, Phebe's house for fun, food, fellowship, swimming--and fireworks! I'm trying to figure out what side dish to take!! Any ideas? Let me know!! Be safe, and God bless our wonderful country!

Hugs!

Well helllllllllllllo! I have been so busy this summer and I miss you! Your canvas is perfect and I would love to be in the drawing. I will be thinking of a nice, short verse for you! Glad your summer is going well. I love the boys on the beach pictures. We also have three boys and dig to China when we go! They dig, and dig, and dig some more all day, everyday at the beach! Must be a boy thing..unending digging. Have a wonderful weekend!

I think it's beautiful and I would love one!

I think we are going to my parents house. Not sure yet because Mike has to work. Normally my parents host a big BBQ (About 200 people) and "Sanging." With several different soloist and groups singing all afternoon. But this year because of some storm damage they had to move it to September.

As for the dish. My favorite is a dip made out of cream cheese ( 1 pkg), drained pineapple tidbits (small can), sliced almonds (optional), and a jar of Harry and David's Pepper and Onion Relish (Run down to the Prime Outlets in Gaffney they have it). This is a yummy dip that you can eat with crackers.

And honey you should try a country ham biscuit with a coke...yum!
Although for everything else only sweet tea will do.
Love ya
Pamela

WHOO HOO!!! Celebrating with you Susan!!!!

Being Canadian, we celebrated Canada Day on July 1st. We spent the evening at my sister's enjoying a patriotic red and white dessert and then enjoyed fireworks. It was a happy celebration.

Enjoy your weekend of fun.

Just found your blog through Joanne at Blessed. Congratulations on your 100th post. I just reached my 100th post too! Never thought I'd make it either!

I'd love to be considered for your drawing. You have such talent!

And I wonder if you'd like to contribute a "runner story" for a book I'm writing about our identity in Christ. I'm working on the "i am an athlete" chapter right now!

I live in England now and for the 4th we had an American Expat celebration last Sunday. It was lots of fun, and even though it was early, we really enjoyed ourselves.

Now if I happen to win, I will have you mail it to my in-laws in Indiana. I'm just sayin'. :-)

Congrats!! I just made my 100th post a couple days ago. Again, it took a year. We are two peas in a pod!

Your canvas is so cute! I need to do that with the verses I have posted on both sides of my girls' doors.

My favorite dish? Dessert - banana pudding. I have a special weakness for it. But I don't do the meringue. Either way, it won't last long! LOL

Anyway, congrats again and see you in about 4 weeks at She Speaks!! I can't believe it's that close!!!
