Sweet Shot Tuesday

I just love surprises! A hug from my boys when I least expect it. A phone call from a friend that felt a gentle nudge from God to call me. A compliment from my hubby when he's talking to someone and doesn't realize that I can hear him!! A package from UPS! A great sale at my favorite running store! The shadow of movement from my kitchen window that made me grab my camera and fly outside to watch one of my favorite creatures...butterflies!

Butterflies are so graceful. I love watching their flight...one flower to the next. They know where they are going. They need no guidance, no one to teach them. On the other hand, I DO!!!

"Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long." Psalm 25:4-5

Love this shot...just beautiful. I actually read that verse this morning. Hope you're doing well. I've been so busy lately that I've not been blogging or reading much. Hope to get back on track!

Love your butterfly picture, and those unexpected surprises are the best! I don't know about you, but summer is slipping away too fast. Have a great day! Jackie

Susan,

I LOVE butterflies too!

Show me your way oh Lord...another of my favorite scriptures.

Hope you are enjoying the summer. Wish I had your drive to get my fanny out there to pound the pavement.

Thinking of you today :O)

I love surprises, too. Those sound like wonderful ones!

Is that a butterfly bush? The deep purple color is awesome! Check out my post about my garden...I have a butterfly bush, too. :-)

Susan,
Beautiful picture! I love butterflies - a vivid picture of the transformation that God brings to us caterpillars. Hmmm... They that wait upon the Lord will mount up with wings as butterflies??

A few years back, I was at a friend's house when the migration of monarchs heading south landed on a bush in her yard. The entire bush was transformed into a giant quivering orange ball. Amazing!!

Blessings,
Susan

Keep snapping away. You're getting better and better. I'm so glad that God is allowing you to more fully address the gifting he's given you. You bless me with your heart!

Still visiting on the link from Mary's. Noticed your emphasis on prayer for a couple of friends. I will lift one up for everyone you name here.

I like the spirit of your blog. It is a good one. It is good to see so many Christian blogs out here like this. With all the bad use made of technology today, I know the Lord must be pleased when his followers use it like this.
