New Season

It's really sad.....so sad....when you have been away from bloggyland for so long that you have forgotten which email and password you use!!! Have mercy!!
I am here. I have a few minutes to share with you before I start the rice to go along with the roast beef for supper. I have a list a mile long of things that I need to do this week....but most all of us do!  So, what can I share with y'all this evening that's a bit different? Just a little bit of my heart.

I am digging deeply into His Word these days. I am making appointments with Him so that I don't get caught up in the busyness of life and forget about studying a little more of His grace and peace. I am in a thirsty time in my Spiritual Life.  I am taking a Bible study written by a friend of mine. I knew that she was an amazing prayer warrior, but I had no idea that she could write! She writes and speaks so that I understand exactly what He is trying to tell us.  We are comparing the Beatitudes (Matthew) with the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians). I can feel the spiritual water that I do so desperately need in this season of life quenching my thirst. He is there....I just need to obey and join Him. The other can wait.

I have been busy with my photography business! I love the joy that it gives me --seeing His beauty through the lens of my camera. And, I can share this with my clients. He has allowed me to capture some special moments this summer. From our mission trip to Peru to a beautiful and fun wedding to taking our oldest to college and seeing it through his eyes.  God is good!

So, with a full week ahead, I pray that you will take the time to spend with Him and see what He has in store for you this season.

Sweet blessings,

Making appointments with God... I like that! Thanks for taking the time to be here and for posting your picture. You could always throw one up from time to time. It would be a blessing to me to see life through the lens of your camera. You're so gifted.

I need a lengthy appointment with HIM these days. Definitely too much busy! I know the feeling about forgetting the password. I was away so long that I forgot my password too and had to create a new one. So glad to hear from you, and how are you adjusting to one in college?I have been thinking of you often while you were away, and I certainly remember that time of adjustment. Have a blessed week. Precious Susan,

I do the same...I call it my time with Abba. I make sure not to allow anything/anyone to get in the mix of that. I'm so glad to hear of your spiritual hunger. I'm with you girlfriend! A new and different season of my life as well.

I'm excited for you...with all that you're doing and experiencing! What an incredible time for you.

It's good to visit with you tonight. Saw your post over at Elaine's FB and had to run on over and give you a big sisterly hug!

Love you!

Welcome back, girl! I can't say too much about you not posting on your blog. It would kinda be like the pot calling the kettle black! ;-)

I'm so glad you wrote this particular message, though. What a great idea to make appointments with God!

Miss you lots...love you even more!

A thirsty time. Yes! That is how I would describe right now in my life as well. I want to drink deep of His Word, His love, His presence.

I feel SO blessed that I actually got to spend a little time with you. Some women only get the joy of reading your heart. I actually got to experience your precious Jesus-lovin' heart face to face. :) And for that, I am so thankful.

Praying for you, precious Susan. :)
Much love,
K
